Market testing is in effect, resulting in the below tiered pricing. Learn more about it and what Tier you are in:

x

Tier 1 Service Area:  West Jordan, South Jordan, Midvale, Cottonwood Heights, and Sandy
Tier 2 Service Area:  everywhere else within Salt Lake County

Cheronimo is market testing demand for a low-cost, on-demand, delivered-to-your-door alternative for homeowners that prefer to do their own lawn care but have lost interest in shelling out hundreds of dollars to own all of the necessary equipment, cleaning it, repairing it, and storing it. Our theory is that there are homeowners out there that would gladly pay a small amount weekly or bi-weekly during the mowing season to rent a mower, trimmer, and blower, have it delivered to them when needed, hand it right back when done, and never again have to buy/clean/repair/store all of the equipment.

That test is taking place in what we call our Tier 1 Service Area, and it benefits from superior pricing based on what we would like to price the service at if demand proves strong. Those living in the Tier 2 Service Area receive the same exact service and equipment, but the pricing is at normal market rates.

The response that we get in the Tier 1 Service Area will drive whether or not to advance to Phase 2 of our testing, which would involve a substantial financial investment on our part to develop a specific proprietary technology that would allow us to expand the Tier 1 Service Area. Our fingers are crossed!

Frequently Asked Questions

(if your question is not addressed here, check the bottom of the home page)

  • Is a deposit required prior to the start of this service?  There are some unfortunate realities to modern society that we need to protect ourselves from, so we do require a pre-authorization on a credit or debit card of your choosing.  This is simply a hold on that account for a set amount, but no money is actually withdrawn. Upon completion of service, that hold will be removed and you'll pay using your preferred means (cash, venmo, debit, or credit).
For Do-it-Yourself service, the hold amount is $200.  For Full Service, the hold amount equals the total cost of the service.  So, for example, if you book a 2-hour appointment, the hold amount would be $120.  For Full Service appointments where you do not intend to be home during the service, there are instances where we will waive this hold requirement and send a payment request after-the-fact, but you should expect this hold requirement to apply be default.
  • How long will it take to clean my gutters? A healthy majority of home gutters can be cleaned within 2 hours. Homes with gutters 2+ stories above ground and/or with hard to reach gutters that require ladder work or climbing on top of the roof require longer. Of course, how extensive and hardened the gutter contents are will impact cleaning time. It is nearly impossible to estimate time required, so we recommend giving yourself more time than you think you'll need. For full service appointments, we charge only for the time ultimately required, not for how long you booked for. So if you book a 4-hour appointment and it takes us 2 hours or less, we only charge the 2-hour rate.
  • What is the difference between Gutter Cleaning (Air) and Gutter Cleaning (Water)?  The "Air" option uses a 200 mph leaf blower with extension tubes to blow debris out of the gutters. This method is quicker and easier to use than the "Water" option, but works best when the gutter contents are dry and loosely packed. The "Water" option uses a pressure washer with a long telescoping wand to spray debris out of the gutters with water. This method takes longer from start to finish, but is effective no matter what condition your gutters are in.
  • Which method do you use for Full Service appointments?  We bring both the "Air" and "Water" kits and use the one that will get the job done the fastest based on the condition of your gutters.
  • What should I do with the gutter debris? Expel it out of the gutter or send it down the downspout?  As much as you can, you'll want to expel it from the gutter. This might create another mess for you to clean up, but that is way better than clogging the downspout.
  • Can't I just vacuum the debris out of the gutter?  You could if you got close enough to the gutter. The suction power of a vacuum diminishes significantly the longer the hose. So if you prefer to stay on the ground, blowing the debris out with air or water is a superior option.
  • What if I want both gutter cleaning AND leaf vacuuming/mulching?  Book an appointment for either one, and at the end of the booking process you'll be able to add the other.
