Need a garden tilled? Has your backyard gone native and just need to start over? Have a section of yard that you want to transition from grass to mulch/stone/dirt/whatever? Save your back, forearms, hands, time, sanity and/or relationship, and throw us at it.
For Full Service bookings, you select a specific duration to help us manage our availability, but you will only be charged for the actual service time, subject to a $70 minimum. So, if you book a Full Service 2 hour appointment, but it only takes us 68 minutes to complete the job, you will only be charged for 68 minutes (we don't round up).

Frequently Asked Questions (if your question is not addressed here, check the bottom of the home page)
- Is a deposit required prior to the start of this service? There are some unfortunate realities to modern society that we need to protect ourselves from, so we do require a pre-authorization on a credit or debit card of your choosing. This is simply a hold on that account, but no money is actually withdrawn. Upon completion of service, that hold will be removed and you'll pay using your preferred means (cash, venmo, debit, or credit). The hold amount equals the total cost of the service. So, for example, if you book a 2-hour appointment, the hold amount would be $140. For appointments where you do not intend to be home during the service, there are instances where we will waive this hold requirement and send a payment request after-the-fact, but you should expect this hold requirement to apply by default.
- How long does it take to till? There could be a million answers to this. We'd definitely recommend allowing more time than you think will be needed. Factors affecting tilling speed include soil compaction level, soil moisture content, slope of the ground, amount and size of rocks in the soil, obstacles that need to be avoided (for example, sprinkler heads), etc. Depending on these and other factors, rototilling will still be FAR superior to tilling by hand with a rake, shovel, hoe or whatever, but it can still be a somewhat physically taxing chore. So it's advisable to build in time for breaks. A tilling speed of between 8 and 20 square feet per minute is a rough estimate that can be used, but understand that reality could vary from this considerably (likely on the high side).
- Do you rake and level after tilling? Some customers want to save money by doing that stuff themselves after we till. So the base assumption is that you only want us to till the ground. In the booking process you will be given an opportunity to provide us with specific instructions. If you would like for us to rake the area after tilling, just let us know and we'll gladly do that.
